Affinity Connect
Affinity Connect is a client marketing operations platform by Affinity Design. It helps authorized agency operators connect client-owned Google services for reporting, website operations, ad management, business profile management, asset import, and approved email workflows.
- Connect client-owned Google accounts through OAuth consent.
- Show client reporting for analytics, SEO, ads, and business profile performance.
- Support approved campaign, website, reputation, and email workflows.
- Let authorized users disconnect or refresh Google connections when access changes.
Google account access
Why Affinity Connect requests Google user data
The app requests Google access only after an authorized user chooses to connect a Google account. Access is used to power the specific client workflow the user enabled.
Used to read and manage authorized client locations, reviews, performance data, photos, and profile updates requested by the client or agency operator.
Used to read GA4 reporting data so clients and authorized agency users can understand website traffic, conversions, and marketing performance.
Used to read Search Console performance data for SEO reporting, search visibility checks, and client dashboards.
Used to audit, report on, and manage Google Ads accounts that the connected Google account is already authorized to access.
Used to browse or import selected client assets into Affinity Connect storage for approved website, reporting, and marketing workflows.
Used only for authorized Gmail-related workflows, such as working with selected messages, drafts, sending actions, or labels inside the Affinity Connect email component.
The public page is visible without login so Google users can understand what Affinity Connect is before granting OAuth access. The operational app itself is available through the authenticated client portal.
- Google user data is used only to provide Affinity Connect features requested by authorized users.
- Google user data is not sold.
- Google user data is not used for advertising unrelated to the connected client account.
- Access tokens are stored securely by the Affinity Connect platform and can be revoked by disconnecting the integration or revoking access from the Google Account.
